Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable property in the City of Center Line, County of Macomb, Michigan be increased in an amount not to exceed 7.5 mils ($7.50 per thousand dollars of the taxable value) for a period of ten (10) years, 2011 through 2020, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds to the Department of Public Safety for operating expenses; for sworn public safety officers (police & fire), and support personnel; for capital requirements, including equipment acquisition; and for related program support for the Department of Public Safety? It is estimated that 7.5 mils would raise approximately $1,400,633 when first levied in 2011.
